July
We got the camping itch again, so we went with our best-buddies Kristen and Trent. Trent and Nate have been friends since their freshman year of school and Kristen and I met our sophomore year. I was dating Nate when Trent and Kristen met. I made Kristen become my friend because none of the other roommates could keep a girl around long enough and they definitely needed some more estrogen around. Soon enough, we hit it off and the four of us are just the best of friends! Nate and Trent took the LSAT prep course together so they were feeling relieved to be done with their class and the big test.
Anyways... We went camping with out friends T&K. We played games, made super yummy food, went on a hike and got lost, went on another hike and didn't get lost, and just enjoyed each others' company.

August
The first week of August was spend in Bear Lake, Utah with Nathan's mother's family. We had a fun family reunion with everyone except Andrea, Tyler and the chilluns, who we missed very much. There was nearly 30 people in one house which was a little crazy at times, but mostly very fun. It was especially fun for me because I have not spent a lot of time (or even met up to this point) some of these family members, so it was nice to get to know them a bit more. I went to my very first rodeo, we ran a 5k, had a family Olympics, went to the beach, and ate lots of yummy raspberry shakes!

Eventually, we had to get back to work and normal life. Ben and Lindsey came back home and spent a few extra days with us before heading to their home. Most of the time was spend warding off sickness and avoiding spreading it around, but it was still nice to spend extra time with them.
September
School started again. Nathan started his public relations internship at the High School Relations office at BYU. He started travelling to high schools in Utah to give presentations to juniors and seniors about BYU: why they should consider attending, how to apply, and answer any questions they may have. He really enjoyed it because he got to travel, he got to use a BYU car and was paid for his internship! His travels took him away from home a few nights a a month, but it was a great opportunity for him.
For Labor Day, we had the day off of school and work, so we decided to hike Squaw Peak. Squaw Peak has the reputation for being the infamous make-out spot where people drive up to see the view of the valley and then end up just macking for hours. But, despite its tainted reputation, it is a beautiful mountain that requires a long-ish hike to appreciate its beauty. The sun was starting to rise as we began our hike, which made it a little chilly, but we warmed up pretty quickly.
After we finished, we rewarded ourselves with a delicious brunch from Kneaders!

A close call |
We're sad that we will be graduating and won't be able to play intramurals anymore. Neither of us ever managed to get "the most coveted shirt on campus," the Intramural Champtionship t-shirt. I guess we just can't graduate until we get one!
