One thing I love about Nate is that we both have a love for soccer. He is much better at playing and much more knowledgeable about the game than me, but we both love the game. He played in high school with some of his buddies who were really, really good. One such friend, Logan Emory, has since played international soccer, and has landed himself on the Toronto FC team. He came to play against Real Salt Lake this summer and we got to watch him play!
It was great to get Nate's friends together to cheer on their old teammate. We had a blast, but it was freezing! We didn't get to talk to him, but he did wave to us from the field. Still, it was pretty awesome!

Real Salt Lake ended up winning the game 3-2 (yay and boo), but it was great to see Logan get some playing time in! I don't know Logan very well, but it was exciting for me to be involved and show support.
